Main Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively with other colleagues in his/her specialized area and other relevant areas in order to deliver high quality, evidence-based care for the patients attending the Aga Khan Hospital. The selected candidate will also be responsible for participating in institutional initiatives by taking an active role in the hospital’s academic, administrative, and quality agendas.

Academic Qualifications:

Medical Graduates who have completed a structured postgraduate training program in their relevant specialty and possess Masters, Royal College Fellowship/Membership, American Board or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

§ At least 4-5 years of experience post successful completion of the Residency Program (including medical/board clearance through relevant exam).

§ Teaching experience in a recognized Medical College or Teaching hospital would be preferred.

§ Candidate must be committed to patient and family-centered care, and be familiar with current evidenced concepts, practices, and procedures within their relevant fields. Selected candidate will have specialist/consultant status as per the institution’s scheme of service, and will participate in the training/supervision of Interns, Medical officers and Residents in the wards and/or clinic.

Online Research Course

The “Online Research Course” is a purpose build training program. It will help them to not only to learn the basic concepts of Research but also participants have to make a real Research Proposal during this course under direct supervision of facilitators. This is one of the first outcome based basic research course in which participants will be directly supervised throughout the course not only for the understanding but also during the practical work in writing of their research proposal. Every participant is free to choose topic of their choice for their research (whether cross sectional study or Randomized Control Trial) and they will be helped to make it final so that the final research paper will be ready to be published in middle to high ranked journals.

4th MOCK examination for ENT

CPSP has arranged 4th MOCK examination for ENT on 17th April 2013 wednesday, 8:00 AM at CPSP regional center, Muslim town near INMOL hospital Lahore. This will include Instructional session,short cases and long cases. Various senior faculty professors will conduct this exercise meant for FCPS part II and IMM candidates.

Registration fee will be Rs. 1500.
