Main
Responsibilities:
The
selected candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively with other
colleagues in his/her specialized area and other relevant areas in order to
deliver high quality, evidence-based care for the patients attending the Aga
Khan Hospital. The selected candidate will also be responsible for
participating in institutional initiatives by taking an active role in the
hospital’s academic, administrative, and quality agendas.
Academic
Qualifications:
Medical
Graduates who have completed a structured postgraduate training program in
their relevant specialty and possess Masters, Royal College
Fellowship/Membership, American Board or equivalent qualification.
Experience:
§ At least 4-5 years of experience post successful
completion of the Residency Program (including medical/board clearance through
relevant exam).
§ Teaching experience in a recognized Medical College
or Teaching hospital would be preferred.
§ Candidate must be committed to patient and
family-centered care, and be familiar with current evidenced concepts,
practices, and procedures within their relevant fields. Selected candidate will
have specialist/consultant status as per the institution’s scheme of service, and
will participate in the training/supervision of Interns, Medical officers and
Residents in the wards and/or clinic.
