NUST Science Society and National Academy of Young Scientists are once again in collaboration organizing “National Symposium on Frontiers Nano Technology”. The day long symposium is scheduled to be held on Saturday, May 19th, 2012 at NUST H-12 Campus, Islamabad, would be an opportunity offering a thorough understanding in areas of Biosciences, Energy Environment, Medicine and Industry.
This will be an amazing occasion for students and researchers alike as this will enable them to embrace a relatively less known and more beautiful aspect of these amazing technologies.
Our distinguished speakers for the event will be:
- Dr. N. M. Butt (Ex Chairman National Commission on Nano Science and Technology )
- Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid (Pro Rector and Professor GIKI)
- Dr. Arshad Saleem Bhatti (Dean faculty of Sciences CIIT)
- Dr. Mohammad Mujahid (Professor NUST)
- Dr. Shahzad Alam (Director General PCSIR)
- Dr. Basit Yameen ( Asst. Professor SSE LUMS)
Poster Presentation
The symposium would also host a poster presentation on projects pertaining research or applications of nanotechnology. Students and researchers are encouraged to submit their abstract, which if selected, would be invited for display at the symposium venue. All the selected authors will be given an opportunity to present their posters to a panel of judges, who will decide the winner of the Best Poster award.
Abstract not exceeding 250 words should sent in pdf format to tecnical.nss@gmail.com latest by May 10,2012. Authors of the selected abstracts would be notified for submitting their posters.
