City Tumor Board (CTB) is a forum for the oncologist, surgeon, physicians, radiologist and pathologist who are practicing oncology in Karachi Pakistan. It was started on March 28, 2010 by a combined effort of our senior colleagues in the field of oncology and surgery. This forum provides an opportunity for all our colleagues to bring their oncology related cases to be discussed in multimodality meeting. This activity is done fortnightly in Zainab Panjawani Hospital (Opposite to Mazar-e-Quaid) at 8:00-9:00 am. Anyone who is practicing oncology can participate in this meeting. It is a non-political and non-institutional forum and requires no membership.
Registration is free but mandatory to arrange for logistic arrangements.

UPCOMING COURSES IN UAE
ULTRASOUND CERTIFICATE & DIPLOMA COURSE FROM UK UNIVERSITY
Starts on September, 2012
These Courses are from a Reputed UK University
There are 3 Sets:
1. 9 months 60 credits
2. 18 months 120 credits
3. MSc Ultrasound 160 credits 2 – 3 years
From there, the only advantage is that while working here, you can only maintain your patient’s record and to get credit.
Time to time for 3-4 days session on every 1-2 months will be arranged here to give all Theory and Clinical Guidance. Some
monthly Courses will also be arranged at weekends.
The Fee for one Course is around 70,000 AED/ year in installment to pay. All assistance will be provided with us for books,
material, written work, and etc.
The Candidates can quit at after 60 credits or after 120 and get the Certificate accordingly. The degree is recognized by
CASE/ British Ultrasound Society.
Requirements:
For those who do not have MRCOG needs Academic IELTS Score of 7 or PEARSON English Test with the score of 60 – 65. For
MRCOG Degree holder – English Language Test is not required.
